Breakfast menu

Our aim is to provide a breakfast using only the finest ingredients from long established local suppliers. We offer orange juice and a variety of cereals, followed by a traditional English cooked breakfast which comprises free range eggs cooked to your liking, with locally produced bacon and Cumbrian gold medal-winning sausages supplied by John Nicholl at Huddlestons of Windermere. Tomatoes, hash browns and baked beans are also available.

Please let us know if you require an early breakfast or have special dietary requirements such as gluten free or vegetarian.

We also provide unlimited tea, coffee and toast with preserves.

The coffee we normally serve comes from Farrer’s of Kendal who have been roasting and blending coffee since 1819. Their coffee shop in Kendal dates from 1640 and is well worth a visit as it appears to have hardly changed since Victorian times.
